Requirements

1. Age Limits (as of May 1, 2025):

GDMOs/GDDOs: Up to 28 years

Specialists: Up to 32 years

2. Marital Status:

Married or Unmarried

3. Gender:

Male and Female (varies by discipline)

4. Minimum Height:

Male: 5’4″ (162.5 cm)

Female: 5′ (152.4 cm)

5. Weight:

As per Body Mass Index

6. Nationality:

Pakistani citizens, including Azad Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan residents.

Dual nationality holders must renounce their non-Pakistani nationality upon selection.

Required Qualifications

1. General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs) (Male/Female):

MBBS recognized by PM&DC/PMC

2. Classified Specialists (Major) (Male/Female):

MBBS and FCPS or equivalent in a relevant specialty

3. Sub-Specialists (Major) (Medicine & Allied Fields):

Additional qualifications in specialties like Cardiology, Nephrology, Pulmonology, etc., after FCPS

4. General Duty Dental Officers (GDDOs) (Male):

BDS with at least one year of house job (preferred)

Ineligibility Conditions

Candidates are ineligible if they:

Were rejected twice by ISSB for PMA/ Graduate Courses.

Were withdrawn from any military training institution for disciplinary reasons.

Are permanently declared unfit by the Appeal Medical Board.

Have been dismissed from government service or convicted of a crime.

Are medically unfit due to Hepatitis B or C.

Registration Process

1. Online Registration:

Dates: December 23, 2024, to January 17, 2025

After registration, download the exam. slip (generated within 5-7 working days).

2. Overseas Candidates:

Apply at the nearest Pakistani consulate or embassy.

3. Preliminary Tests:

January 30 – February 4, 2025

Computer-based tests (academic, intelligence, and personality).

Preliminary medical examination at designated centers.

Further Selection Procedure

1. Interviews: To be conducted by the GHQ Selection Board at Rawalpindi.

2. Medical Examination: Detailed medical checkup at nearby Combined Military Hospitals (CMH).

3. Military Training: 22 weeks of Basic Military Training at PMA Kakul (for both males and females).

Documents Required

Bring the following to Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs):

Original certificates, degrees, and two attested photocopies of each.

PM & DC registration certificates (two attested copies).

House job certificates (if applicable).

Domicile (attested photocopy).

NADRA-verified CNIC (photocopy).

Three attested passport-size photographs.

Additional Notes

Selected candidates will sign a 5-year bond to serve in the Army.

Age waivers may be granted if younger candidates are unavailable.

The government employees must submit an NOC (No Objection Certificate), issued by the concerned department.

Expired CNICs will not be accepted.
