Requirements

Age Limit: Up to 28 years as of May 1, 2025.

Marital Status: Married or Unmarried.

Gender: Male.

Height: Minimum 5’4″ (162.5 cm).

Weight: As per Body Mass Index (BMI).

Nationality: Male citizens of Pakistan or residents of Azad Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan. Dual nationals must surrender foreign nationality upon selection.

Educational Requirements

Degree

Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BE of 4 years) in Aeronautical, Avionics, Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

Academic Performance

Minimum 62.5% marks annually.

At least 2.5 CGPA (out of 4.0).

No grades below “C” in the academic career.

The degree must be from HEC/PEC-recognized institutes or equivalent foreign universities.

Ineligibility Criteria

Rejected twice by ISSB for any armed forces entry.

Dismissed or barred from government/ armed forces services.

Declared medically permanently unfit on a permanent basis.

Withdrawal from any academy of Pakistan’s armed forces

Resignation from any Armed Forces academy

Academic misconduct or document forgery.

Incomplete four-year engineering degree.

Registration Process

Tests and Selection Process

Academic and Intelligence Tests (MCQs).

Physical Tests

1.6 km run in 9 minutes.

Push-ups: 10 in 2 minutes.

Sit-ups: 10 in 2 minutes.

Chin-ups: 2 in 2 minutes.

Initial Medical Examination.

Further Selection

Shortlisted candidates will appear before the ISSB for interviews and assessments.

Final selection will be based on performance, followed by medical checks at military hospitals.

Military Training and Bond

Training Duration will be 6 months at PMA (Pakistan Military Academy), Kakul.

Commitment: To sign a 7-year service bond.
