Bond Requirement
Serve for 7 Years
If chosen, you’ll need to enter into a service agreement. This means you agree to serve in the Pakistan Army for at least 7 years. This agreement will be made official using an e-stamp paper worth Rs. 100, and you will sign it in front of a Magistrate, Notary Public, or an Oath Commissioner. This step ensures that you are committed to serving the nation through the Army.
Documents Required for Submission
When visiting the Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs), make sure to carry the original documents along with their attested photocopies as listed below.
1. No Objection Certificate (NOC)
This is only required if you are already working in a government department. It shows that your department allows you to apply for the Army.
2. Domicile Certificate
A copy of your domicile must be attested.
3. CNIC and NADRA Slip
Submit a copy of your Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) along with a verification slip from NADRA.
4. Passport-size Photographs
You must submit 6 photos in total. 3 front-view and 3 back-view, and all of them must be attested.
5. Educational Documents
Your degrees or diplomas must be verified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) or the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
Note on Education Verification
If your final result (such as your degree or transcript) is still pending, you are still eligible to apply. But you must attach a Hope Certificate from your institution, stating that you’re expected to pass. Once your result is out, you must submit the verified degree or transcript within 7 days. If you don’t submit it in time, your application could be canceled.
Further Selection Procedure
What Happens Next
After you submit your documents and the initial review is completed, only those who are shortlisted will be informed for the next stages of the process. You will be informed either through the official Army website or by a call-up letter.
The next stage is with the Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB). You will appear for various tests and interviews conducted by ISSB.
If you pass the ISSB stage, you will be called for a final interview at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.
Please note:
The Army does not provide travel allowance or daily expenses (TA/DA) for any stage of the selection.
You will go through a complete medical examination at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
The final decision will be based on your overall performance in all stages and is made at GHQ.
Once selected, you will receive training for 6 months at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA).
Application and Enrollment Procedure – Steps to Apply

After successful registration, wait for 5 to 7 working days. Then, download your exam slip from the website.
You must bring this slip and all required documents on the test day to the selection center.
Important
All candidates must know how to use a computer, because registration and some of the tests will be online.
Initial Selection Process – Step-by-Step
Once you arrive at the selection center, you’ll go through three main tests:
1. Written / Intelligence Test
The exam will consist of questions in the form of multiple-choice options (MCQs).
It will cover different subjects, including general knowledge, analytical reasoning, and academic topics.
The exam is held at the Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs).
2. Medical Test
A basic health check-up will be conducted at the center.
This includes checking your eyesight, blood pressure, height, weight, and other general health factors.
3. Physical Test
You’ll also have to prove your physical fitness. The minimum requirements are:
1.6 km run in 9 minutes
10 push-ups within 2 minutes
10 crunches (sit-ups) within 2 minutes
2 pull-ups in 2 minute
