Eligibility Criteria and Job Descriptions
1. Professor (BPS-21)
Departments: Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, English, Commerce
Required Qualifications & Experience: A doctoral degree in the relevant discipline conferred by an HEC-recognized institution.
A minimum of 15 years of teaching or research experience at a university or postgraduate institution, with strong academic leadership skills.
Alternatively, at least 10 years of experience after completing a PhD is acceptable.
Applicants must demonstrate strong academic leadership, research contributions, and curriculum development experience.
2. Associate Professor (BPS-20)
Departments: Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, English, Commerce
Required Qualifications & Experience: Doctorate in the relevant field from a recognized institution.
A minimum of 10 research publications is required, with at least 4 of them published in HEC-recognized journals during the past five years.
3. Assistant Professor (BPS-19)
Departments: Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, English, Commerce
Required Qualifications & Experience: A PhD in the relevant subject from a recognized institution (mandatory for all disciplines).
No experience is required for PhD holders as per HEC rules, though preference will be given to those with university-level teaching or research experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students effectively in both theory and applied learning.
Candidates are expected to pursue research and publish regularly in peer-reviewed journals.
4. Lecturer (BPS-18)
Departments: Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, English, Commerce
Required Qualifications: At least a Master’s degree (16 years of education) with a first division or CGPA of 3.0 or above.
Lecturers will be expected to deliver lectures, conduct assessments, and support academic events.
